The Fairy Chimney Inn is a little unique traditional based cave-hotel within the lunar like landscape of Goreme-Cappadocia. Our guesthouse has about ten guest-rooms for national and international guests.
Gülcan is offering free stay and accommodation to anyone, who is interested in staying with us during a certain period for 4-6 weeks (or even longer). In exchange, Gülcan will expect assistance for about 3-4 hours a day and sometimes also during the dinner-evenings.
At the FCI you can erperience the various processes of running a little B&B hotel in a quite informal and oriental way. During your time off you have plenty of options to explore Cappadocia.
Some of your possible Responsibilities (on demand):
Guesthouse:
- help
with the preparation of breakfast and dinner service as well as breakfast clean up
(feeding dishwasher etc.)
- support with general guest service
- help with the laundry and preparing the rooms
- answering
incoming telephone calls and checking reservations on occasion
- keeping
Booking updates on our computer-based Apple iCal reservation system
- supervise
hotel-activities in the house during temporary absence of the owner
- taking care of plants in our garden; cooking and baking if this is your hobby.
- input
of positive energy.
If qualified: Admistrator
- Translation of relevant site information into your mother tongue
- development and updating of new social media interfaces
- WordPress - New website / Blog / facebook page /
- Mac-Computer, WLAN & HP hostig and configuration
- Updates
Educational
Requirements: basic experience in the field of tourism, anthropology,
intercultural relationship etc.or technical skills and interst. Personal enthusiasm..
We expect:

- Self responsibility, hands-on menatliy
- Trustfully reliable and of
general friendly and good minded character.
- At least English or Turkish language skills
- general
knowledge of Mac, and email programs.
