This traditional easy-to-heat winter room (kis odasi at the southern end of the Fairy Chimney had been in use by locals for centuries. We now provide this unique cave room with underfloor and wall radiation, so it is one of our favourable rooms also during cooler days. In the summer month this very quiet room is pleasantly cool.

The 'Aladdin' room is carved out of the rock exactly between two eruption levels of volcanic tufa. It is structured with a higher traditional sitting area and a lower entrance part, where we nowadays put a table for your convenient use. Added to one part of the front there is a little private bathroom with beautiful views to the landscape.

The last local inhabitant was Aladdin Özer, who moved out of these room about 35 years ago before he went to Germany as a guest worker and laterly built a new house in the center of the village. The open chimney in the room had once also been used as an emergency tunnel of the old byzantine Christians. This open fireplace can still be used on demand. A little terrace in front of the room with marvellous views is for your use. A perfect spot to watch the sunset.
